One use for a Wiki is to create a teacher's classroom web page so if you want to make a class web page using just a web browser. Teachers will leave with their own Wikispaces Wiki page/web site.

Come learn the basics of Springboro's Content Management System(CMS) that can be used for teaching online or as an online component of your regular classroom. A tour of both the Teacher and student's perspective will provided as will instruction on how to set up a class, add content, activities, assignments and resources.
Nontraditional uses for PowerPoint
PowerPoint has be around for over 15 years and most people think of it as software for doing presentations and slideshows and are unaware of just how versatile Powerpoint really is! There a MANY others was that PowerPoint can be used; as a Drawing Program, to create interactive activates and review games, creating assessments, as an outliner, to create Web Pages and even simple web sites to name just a few! Templates for Jeopardy and Who Wants to be a Millionaire interactives will be provided. Participants will need a basic understanding of PowerPoint.
Basics of Podcasting Learn how to create and distribute audio and video projects as Podcasts easily using free software that is installed on every computer in the district(and that you and students can use at home too!) This class covers the whole process from content creation, basic editing, encoding/compression and distribution.
